I love carrying my shoes everywhere!

My first week as a toddler has been full of playtime and lots of eating (aka attacking the person feeding me, splattering my food everywhere, and smearing it all over my tray, face and hair). I’m on a mission to convince mom and dad to let me try more grownup foods, and refusing baby food seems to be helping with that. The only problem is that they don’t seem to want me eating the junk food that they eat most of the time, so sometimes I end up hungry and have to whine whine whine just to get some cheerios. At least I got to eat scrambled eggs and french toast this weekend!

I went to the doctor this week and they were very mean – the nurse gave me 4 shots and I SCREAMED. But then I got a sticker after, so I guess it was worth it. They also did all my measurements and I’m still skinny (17 lbs, 14 oz, which is less than the 5th percentile for my age), but at least I’m getting taller (29.25 inches, which is between the 50-75th percentile).

"Hello?"

I really like to talk on the phone, so if you want to catch up, call me anytime! Sometimes I pretend to talk on the phone by holding mommy’s blackberry up to my ear and chatting away even if no one’s on the other end – it’s also fun to do that with my shoes or any remote control. I say “dadadadadada” a lot, sometimes when I’m trying to get dad’s attention and sometimes when I’m talking about other stuff. I don’t know why mom and dad can’t understand what I’m talking about, I thought they were smart but I’m not so sure lately. I’ll talk to them for a good 5 minutes and they still look confused no matter how extensively I explain what I’m saying.

P.S. If you don’t have time to call, you can chat with us online now by typing a message in the new Instant Messenger box here on PhamsterWorld. If mom’s on her computer she’ll write you back!
