Happy holidays everyone! I’ve been busy these past two weeks doing all kinds of things, including turning 15 months old yesterday (but I still haven’t cracked 20 pounds, ugh).

As you can see in this photo, I had a fun Secret Santa party on my last day of daycare (in 2008 that is).

Since then, I’ve been spending a lot of time playing with my Ba Ngoai (Grandma Anne) who’s been visiting from Washington, DC.

But of course the most exciting day of the past few weeks was Christmas! We drove up to Trinidad, California, which is about half-way between San Jose and Portland, where all my cousins live. They drove down and met us and we all stayed together in a little cottage in the redwood forests.

It was very pretty but very very rainy, so we didn’t go out much. That meant that I got lots of quality play time in with my cousins Sage, Jude and Eva. Here’s a slideshow from our trip:

So I learned a new trick this week. When mommy or daddy says “give me a kiss, Maddy!” I walk up to them and give them a nice smack on the lips and they get all excited.

In other matters, I had a great weekend with friends. On Saturday, my friend Asha came over and we played some duets on the piano together:

And on Sunday, I had brunch with all my S friends – Sierra, Sydney and Summer. We had fun tearing it up at Buck’s in Woodside. I’m not sure the other people eating there really enjoyed our company/harassment too much, though.

So, I got my first molar this week – if I get a few more I can eat more grown-up foods, yay! Otherwise, the week was just okay. I entertained my parents with my…
